Freelance Social Media Coordinator

Are you a social media junkie? Do you spend your days Tweeting, Blogging and Facebooking?

In this unique and exciting role, you will work with a major corporate organisation, coordinating effective, cutting edge, social media campaigns and corporate presence including blogger outreach, social network initiatives, social news participation, keyword optimization, link building and mobile device marketing. You will work to engage specific target audiences through various social mediums to create vibrant online conversations and communities.

As an experienced social marketer, you will be able to track and monitor the success of online initiatives and provide reports to management. You will also play a key role in educating key stakeholders on the implementation of new technologies. You will also be required to liaise with external agencies on other digital projects.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications with one to three years social media, new media or online communications experience. You must also possess -Statistical analysis skills, Knowledge of online technology with particular interest in blogs, social networks, virtual worlds, mobile and other emerging trends combined with previous experience managing a blog for a corporate organization. Strong writing skills with a focus on writing for the web and strong communication, research, presentation and creative skills. A contagious passion for new media and a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is also essential.
