Online Community Manager

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the main focus of this role is developing and executing a clearly defined social media strategy to build an engaged online community while increasing brand recognition, online traffic and engagement. This position is responsible for the daily community management of social and community conversations, editorial elements and customer support. The successful candidate must be able to evaluate, plan, organise, manage, and drive all social media channels in an effort to achieve the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Marketing Manager to develop the Social media strategy and driving its implementation
-Develop social guidelines
-On-going monitoring, reporting and online reputation management
-First point of contact for customer support – answering questions that arise
-Building a rapport and maintaining relationships with online bloggers and the Tarazz community
-Make recommendations for integration of social media channels with all marketing efforts
-Ability to create content schedules, and set-up promotions and build competitions via social platforms
-Developing and maintaining editorial content
-Implementing and optimising our website for search (SEO)
-Analysing the success of all social promotions and campaigns making recommendations for future activity
-Identify and analyse issues or new opportunities within social media
Key Selection Criteria
-Minimum 3-5 years experience developing, implementing and executing social network strategy
-Tertiary qualification in Business Management or Marketing
-Experience in on-going management of social media channels and reporting
-Experience using analytics
-Experience with set-up of Facebook campaigns including tabs & applications
-SEO experience
-Be dedicated to blogging and the use of Facebook and Twitter
-Understand & administer blogger out- reach programs
-Possess a creative and well documented immersion in social media
-Have experience sourcing content, managing content development and publishing content
-Understand the social media landscape in Australia across social networks including blogs and forums
-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on in a team environment
-Possess outstanding organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
