Holler is a dynamic, central Sydney interactive agency. We need an inspired Community Manager for our integrated network of XXXX sites.

What you’ll be doing…

The XXXX online community covers a range of sites for our consumers and brand fans. These include sites for XXXX Gold, Beach Cricket, V8 Supercars, Angels, Ale House, Facebook and YouTube content, and much more.
As Community Manager, you’ll be a multi-channel brand advocate – leading, guiding, shaping, updating, integrating and communicating with the whole community. Your community will need you to “be” the XXXX brand. And we’ll need you to be outgoing, sociable, flexible with hours and travel, responsive to emails, forums, phone calls etc, professionally skilled, and full of creative ideas.

What you’ll manage…

1. The community.
You’ll be the eyes, ears and voice of XXXX online. You’ll need to listen and understand our consumers, then respond promptly in their own language. That means face-to-face and online participation, responding to emails and forum posts, attracting and encouraging conversation about the XXXX brands.

2. The content.
You’ll be in charge of keeping our community fresh and relevant – which means you’ll have lots of ideas and the ability to implement them. You’ll also be good at understanding what the community wants and delivering it (before they have to ask). Naturally, you’ll be very familiar with the tools of communication – from photo sharing and forums to blogs, podcasts, Twitter and more.

3. The brand.
As a brand evangelist for XXXX, you’ll promote our different events, products and brand messages to consumers using traditional marketing methods, as well as your conversations online and at events. You can see how you’ll need to live and breathe the role! You could be doing anything from facilitating at focus groups to chatting with a punter in the Ale House.

4. Your future.

What you’ll have behind you…
• 4+ years of experience in online community development?
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Agency/Marketing experience preferred
