The Vice President will also work closely with traditional PR practitioners to ensure a holistic communications strategy.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;In the immediate term, the role is demanding given the current, high-profile client base of the Sydney office. In time, the role would require new business origination, proposal development and pitching.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;This is the top-level digital role, and as such the successful candidate needs to develop and deliver a longer term business plan that supports their and the GM’s vision for digital.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;In Sydney, Fleishman-Hillard has a high-profile cultivated through media relations and conference speeches. This role will demand regular public appearances and media engagements in order to promote the successful candidate’s thought leadership in the field. The ideal candidate will be a consummate networker eager to present FH at formal conferences or casual gatherings (such as tweetups, unconferences, etc.). Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:&#10;&#9;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Develop, package and integrate digital consulting and tactical services within the communications mix of several high-profile clients.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Contribute to the business development efforts for digitally integrated services within Australia and &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;APAC&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Participate in key account group brainstorms, strategy and creative sessions, contributing digital / interactive / new media ideas.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Manage internal digital projects, liaising with other FH digital operations for work-sharing, knowledge management and standards development.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Serve as an evangelist to support and advise traditional account staff in supporting digital program elements.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Manage projects for on-time and on-budget completion.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Recruit, mentor, and retain digital communications staff.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Seeking 8-12 years of digital experience working with clients and developing business within a digital firm, PR agency, or advertising/marketing agency.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;An ability to envision and develop holistic, offline and online marketing communications strategy, weaving in digital strategies to drive &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;ROI&lt;/span&gt; for clients.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Experience leading teams through Web site development, online applications and digital outbound communications.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Consulting capabilities to translate client business requirements into digital communications strategies and applications.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Ability to develop and implement a digital project management methodology.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/accounts, manage staff and client relationships and deliver results.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Solid knowledge of digital and mobile marketing communications strategy, analytics and user behavior.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Familiarity with digital technologies such as database design, scripting languages, and development environments.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Familiarity with usability and generally accepted digital user interface guidelines and best practices.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Proven track record of excellent client counseling, including strategic thinking, verbal and writing skills.&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Other Ideal Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;An experienced professional with expertise in applying digital communications solutions within a strategic communications framework.  Particular strengths in digital marketing include word-of-mouth/viral campaigns, content syndication, online advertising, lead- and traffic generation, blogger relations, social media, use of Web analytics, search engine optimization (&lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SEO&lt;/span&gt;), and experience in gaming, a plus.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Ability to link digital / interactive /new media strategies and tactics to traditional corporate, public affairs or marketing communications in a logical and compelling manner.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Part strategist, part hands-on tactician, capable of envisioning, leading or implementing as the situation requires.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Excellent relationship skills; good listener; respects the expertise of others; ability to motivate and generate effective action from all levels of the organization.  Able to build strong relations with agency clients, account staff, group directors and other senior managers in the firm.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;A consummate team player who brings a passionate, positive, high-energy approach to client service and delivering results.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Comfortable in the role of teacher, trainer, mentor.  The successful candidate should possess enough hands-on experience implementing digital communications to translate terminology into a language that all can understand.
